The atmosphere is casual yet upscale, ideal for relaxing with a drink and great food. The outdoor setup with the firepit adds such a cozy vibe, and it’s especially great if you’re looking for open-air dining in a beautiful setting. We ordered the mac & cheese and a wood-fired pepperoni pizza, and both exceeded expectations.

The Bench is a must-visit if you’re in the area — the views alone are worth it. It overlooks the lush golf greens of Pebble Beach, the iconic Lone Cypress tree, and the stunning Pacific Ocean. Honestly, it’s one of those picture-perfect spots that feels straight out of a postcard. We made a reservation ahead of time and asked to be seated outside — highly recommend doing the same. It was a bit chilly when we got there, but the staff was super accommodating and started the outdoor fire pit for us. Once that kicked in, the whole setting was cozy, relaxing, and just beautiful. Food-wise, they serve full entrées until 4 PM, and after that it’s more of a small plates/appetizer menu. That worked out just fine because their appetizer game is strong. We got the Bread Balloon (super fun and tasty), the Cauliflower Shawarma which had a nice Indian-inspired flavor, and two orders of their Street Corn — which was honestly one of the highlights of the meal. We also tried the Fried Chicken Sandwich, which unfortunately didn’t live up to the rest — bland and not really memorable, so that’s the only reason we’re docking a star. Drinks were great — they have a really solid drink menu with great cocktails and local beers. We stuck with a couple of local brews and loved them. All in all, The Bench nails it when it comes to vibes, views, brews, and bites (well, most of them). Definitely go for the experience — you won’t regret it.

We came for the birthday celebration and they made us feel happy, fed us well, the view and the fire place at the table were top notch! The soup of the day (lentil soup) is top three best soups I have ever had in the USA. Roasted beets, Yellowfish tuna niçoise salad were awesome. The wait staff was super polite and professional and knew the menu very well. Many GF and DF options available. Highly recommend!

A Place I’d Love to Visit Again It was a bit chilly, so we chose to sit indoors, but the windows were open and we could fully enjoy the stunning view of the 18th hole. The “roasted crab” on the English menu turned out to be a crab-topped pizza — unexpectedly delicious. The Pebble Beach Ale had a rich aroma and was truly excellent. Although there was construction and the location was a bit hard to find, a worker kindly guided us to the entrance. Their hospitality left a strong impression.

Situated on the 18th hole with spectacular views of the finishing hole / bay. Main entrance under construction so you'll need to walk down a bit. Seating option include patio with center gas burners on each table. Inside there's a large bar and full glass sun room. Food wise, as expected, pricey but you're paying for the views. By dining in, your entrance fee to 17mile is taken off the bill. Try the Pebble IPA, brewed by Alvarado.
